The location was super comfortable and quiet, easy to find with sat nav. Diana, the host, was friendly but gave us privacy. The cooking facilities and BBQ were mind-blowing, and the beds were firm but comfy. The WiFi was jaw-droppingly quick, perfect for streaming movies. The large grassed garden was not overlooked and had a security camera. Shops were a short drive away, and there were pubs within 10 minutes. The parking felt safe and was right next to the building. We appreciated having separate beds for everyone. The enclosed garden was pleasant, and the towels and robes were of good quality. The host was super responsive and came to fix a faulty boiler within an hour. Everything about our stay was great, the rooms were lovely, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was peaceful and quiet, not too isolated.

Stoney Moat is my go-to place in Shrewsbury. Never regret staying here. Friendly staff helped me print documents once. It has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, parking, kitchen utensils, TV room, express check-in. Coming back for a holiday!

After a long day of exploring the beautiful Shropshire countryside, our family loved unwinding in the enchanting garden at Stoney Moat. The children had a blast running around and playing games, while my wife and I enjoyed a relaxing glass of wine. It was the perfect spot to soak in the peaceful surroundings and create lasting memories together.

My wife says that a small play area or some outdoor toys would have been a great addition for families with children.

The log burner created a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for family bonding time. The kids loved playing with the selection of board games provided, while my wife and I enjoyed a glass of wine on the comfortable sofa. It was the ideal end to an adventurous day.

My wife says that there could have been more child-friendly amenities. Though the garden was lovely, our children wished there had been a swing set or some outdoor toys to keep them entertained.
